My name is Helena and I set up my blog in April 2016 after being inspired by the works of other girls a similar age to me.
Writing started off as an enjoyable pastime, but quickly evolved into something much bigger. Without a doubt, writing is my biggest passion and I hope you enjoy reading my work.
In the short space of a year, I have had experience working in PR and journalism, including working with Mercedes AMG Formula 1 team, Sauber F1, Autosport, and The Daily Mail.
At the beginning of 2017, I was awarded the Sir William Lyons Award, a great honour to join the list of so many iconic names including Motorsport.com F1 editor Jonathan Noble.
I now study Journalist at City, University of London to grow my skills as a journalist and press officer, alongside being the Press Officer for the Michelin Clio Cup Series.
At the very end of 2017, I founded the Females in Motorsport site, which to this date has reached over 2,500,000 people through its Twitter account alone.
I have always been a follower of motorsport, thanks to my parents. As I have grown older, this love has only intensified. One day, I hope to be working in the Formula 1 paddock in media!
One final thing, I would love to hear feedback from people. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing and posts so leave a comment or drop me an email: email@example.com
Happy reading x
