My name is Helena and I set up my blog in April 2016 after being inspired by the works of other girls a similar age to me.
Writing started off as a casual hobby but quickly evolved into something much bigger. Without a doubt, writing is my biggest passion and I hope you enjoy reading my work.
Since last year, things have snowballed and joining Dare To Be Different (give the link a click) gave me the confidence to follow my dreams. I have been inspired to say the least.
In the short space of a year, I have had experience working in PR and journalism, including working with Mercedes AMG Formula 1 team, Sauber, Autosport, and The Daily Mail. I am always looking to expand on opportunities in journalism and media.
At the beginning of 2017, I was awarded the Sir William Lyons Award, a great honour to join the list of so many iconic names including Motorsport.com F1 editor Jonathan Noble.
In September, I shall be off to study journalism at City, University of London to grow my skills as a journalist and press officer.
I have always been a follower of motorsport, thanks to my parents. As I have grown older, this love has only intensified. One day, I hope to be working in the Formula 1 paddock in PR!
One final thing, I would love to hear feedback from people. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing and posts so leave a comment or drop me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Happy reading x
